Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Democrat Socialists

By April 27, 2016 January 10th, 2019 No Comments

Democrat socialists are the biggest hypocrites. Hand it to John F. Kerry. Among of the left-wing politicians complaining about “the rich” and raising taxes while at the same time dubiously making themselves very, very rich, Kerry seems to be better at it than anyone else. Sure, the Clintons have raked in $156 million in speaking fees since Bill left office, and there’s the crooked, “Clinton Foundation” slush fund. And how could we forget the crazy Uncle Bernie Sanders’ tax avoidance? Democrat socialists just cant help themselves.

It’s also fair enough to say that by the time John Kerry ran for president, voters mostly knew that he’d been steeped in New England Brahmin wealth and privilege even before marrying Teresa Heinz about 20 years ago. It wasn’t quite Austin Powers’ childhood (“typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons…”) for Kerry, but it was close (summers at Les Essarts, the Forbes family estate in Saint-Bria, France, etc.) and somehow, in the course of Kerry’s long career in so-called “public service,” he made himself fabulously wealthy. Regardless, Kerry’s campaign supporters really didn’t care in 2004 or at any other time, since he’s a Democrat and all, and he hit all the usual notes about making “rich people” “paying their fair share.”

Then again, we didn’t really know about Cayman Islands accounts, the Kerrys’ more than $1 million investment in a tax shelter founded by an Obama fundraising bundler, and the hedge fund that paid Kerry’s running mate, John Edwards, $480,000 for a “part-time job.” Or the investments in diverse Chinese ventures.

All of this was splashed this morning in the article “Kerry, Heinz Family Have Millions Invested In Offshore Tax Havens” by The Daily Caller

Who needs the Panama Papers? For the lifestyles of rich, tax-dodging democrats, look no further than John Kerry.
